When it is hot Sun or rain, we use umbrella to protect us. In the same manner, when we use the proper gem, the negative rays of the planets are filtered and only beneficial rays are allowed to enter the body. Thus the gems act as a shield and guard against the evil influences of the planets.
Our body is composed of seven colours of the solar spectrum. They are violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red. When there is a deficiency of any of these primary colours in our body, we get attacked by the disease caused by that deficiency. For example, if red rays are absent, dieses like anemia, fever, inflammation, general debility and weaknesses would afflict the body. These diseases can be cured by injecting red rays into our body, by wearing gems of red planets. The red planets are the Sun and Mars. Their gems are Ruby and Red Corals.

Yantras for Planets
Yantra is a Sanskrit word which means an “instrument” an “apparatus”. Yantras are constructed on the immutable laws of sacred geometry and provides us a focusing point for concentration and meditation. Yantras can be defined as visual mantras also. They have been used since the Vedic age to remove the malefic forces and to strengthen the positive powers. Yantras are always essentials to the worship of Gods just as oil is essential to oil lamps.
